Substitute Sheets for Advice 5413-E-A

Dear Energy Division Tariff Unit:
An original and 1 copy of substitute sheets are attached for Advice 5413-E-A,
“Supplemental: Notice of Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Rate Increase
Submittal (TO20)”.
PG&E is submitting revisions to the advice letter to correct two typographical errors
on the first page of the advice:
1. Paragraph 1, correct the reference to PG&E’s FERC jurisdictional electric
transmission revenue requirement from nineteenth to twentieth, and
2. Paragraph 3, correct the date of FERC’s order accepting PG&E’s filing from
October 1, 2018 to November 30, 2018.
In accordance with GO 96-B, Section 7.5.1, the substitute sheets are being served
in the same manner as the original advice letter. For administrative convenience,
new pages of the advice letter are being attached. Please discard the previously
submitted page in Advice 5413-E-A.
Please telephone me at (415) 973-2094 should you have any questions regarding
the substitute sheets.

Box 770000 San Francisco, CA 94177 Fax: 415-973-3582 December 21, 2018 Advice 5413-E-A (Pacific Gas and Electric Company ID U 39 E) Public Utilities Commission of the State of California Subject: Supplemental: Notice of Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Rate Increase Submittal (TO20) Purpose In compliance with California Public Utilities Commission (Commission or CPUC) Resolution E-3930, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) hereby submits this supplemental advice letter to provide the Commission with notice of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC) recent order on PG&E’s twentieth FERC-jurisdictional electric transmission revenue requirement request (TO20). On November 30, 2018, FERC issued its Order accepting PG&E’s TO20 filing and suspending the rate increase for five months, to become effective on May 1, 2019, subject to refund. Background On October 1, 2018, PG&E submitted its TO20 Formula Rate filing in FERC Docket No. ER19-13-000. That filing requested an increase in TO Tariff transmission revenue requirements and rates to recover the just and reasonable costs associated with significant electric transmission infrastructure expansion and replacement that has occurred in 2018 to date, and that is forecasted to occur during the balance of 2018 and in 2019. PG&E proposed an effective date of December 1, 2018 and requested to suspend the rates implementation date to January 1, 2019. On November 30, 2018, FERC issued its order accepting PG&E’s TO20 filing, suspending the requested rate increase for five months to become effective on May 1, 2019, subject to refund. In its order of acceptance, FERC set the matter for a trial-type evidentiary hearing but held the hearing in abeyance to provide time for settlement judge procedures.
