ADVICE 4419-E
(U 338-E)
PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
ENERGY DIVISION
Tariff Revisions to Update Southern California Edison
Company’s Energy Resource Recovery Account Trigger Point
and Assembly Bill 57 Threshold Amounts
SUBJECT:
In accordance with California Public Utilities Commission (Commission or CPUC)
Decision (D.)04-01-050, Southern California Edison Company (SCE) hereby submits
the following changes to its tariffs. The revised tariff sheets are listed on Attachment A
and are attached hereto.
PURPOSE
This advice letter revises Preliminary Statement Part ZZ, Energy Resource Recovery
Account (ERRA), to update SCE’s ERRA Trigger Point and Assembly Bill (AB) 57
Threshold amounts in accordance with D.04-01-050.
BACKGROUND
On January 26, 2004, the Commission issued D.04-01-050 requiring SCE to submit an
annual advice letter updating its ERRA-related Trigger Point and AB 57 Threshold
amounts by April 1 of each year.1 These amounts are based on four percent and five
percent, respectively, of SCE’s actual recorded generation revenues from the prior
calendar year.2
1
2
As outlined in Advice 3914-E, which established the Portfolio Allocation Balancing Account
(PABA), SCE will include bundled service customers’ estimated pro rata share of the PABA
balance in the amount used to determine movement towards the ERRA Trigger and AB 57
Threshold. Advice 3914-E was approved on May 3, 2019 with a January 1, 2019 effective
date.
In accordance with D.02-10-062, generation revenues exclude California Department of
Water Resources (DWR) revenues for these calculations.

(U 338-E)
-2-
February 19, 2021
In 2020, SCE’s actual recorded generation revenues were $5,113.017 million.
Therefore, SCE’s ERRA Trigger Point is updated to $204.521 million and its AB 57
Threshold amount is updated to $255.651 million.3
PROPOSED TARIFF CHANGES
Pursuant to the discussion above, SCE proposes to revise Section 8 of Preliminary
Statement Part ZZ, ERRA, to reflect the updated Trigger Point and AB 57 Threshold
amounts.
No cost information is required for this advice letter.
This advice letter will not increase any rate or charge, cause the withdrawal of service,
or conflict with any other schedule or rule.
TIER DESIGNATION
Pursuant to General Order (GO) 96-B, Energy Industry Rule 5.2, this advice letter is
submitted with a Tier 2 designation.
EFFECTIVE DATE,
This advice letter will become effective on March 21, 2021, the 30th calendar day after
the date submitted.
NOTICE
Anyone wishing to protest this advice letter may do so by letter via U.S. Mail, facsimile,
or electronically, any of which must be received no later than 20 days after the date of
this advice letter. Protests should be submitted to:
CPUC, Energy Division

The new ERRA Trigger Point and AB 57 Threshold amounts are higher than the 2020
values, due to an increase in actual recorded generation revenues in 2020 compared to
2019.
